    This Refund Policy describes the terms under which payments made to BetterPings may be refunded.

    BetterPings is owned and operated by:

    BetterPings operates using a credit-based billing system for API usage. By purchasing credits or using paid features of the BetterPings platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.

    Credit Purchases

    BetterPings sells API usage through prepaid credit packages. Credits may be used to perform enrichment requests through the BetterPings API.

    Once credits are purchased and added to an account, they are considered consumed digital services capacity. As a result:

    All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

    No Refunds for Used Credits

    Credits that have been used to process API requests are not refundable under any circumstances.

    Customers are responsible for:

    • Monitoring their API usage
    • Managing their credit balance
    • Configuring integrations responsibly

    Auto-Recharge Charges

    Customers may enable auto-recharge, which automatically purchases additional credit packages when account balances fall below a specified threshold.

    When auto-recharge is enabled:

    • Purchases are triggered automatically
    • Payment methods on file will be charged
    • Purchased credits are immediately added to the account

    Auto-recharge purchases are non-refundable. Customers may disable auto-recharge at any time from the billing settings in their account dashboard.

    Billing Errors

    If you believe a payment was made in error due to a technical issue with the BetterPings platform, you may contact our billing team.

    Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge. BetterPings may review such requests and may issue a refund at its sole discretion.

    Fraudulent or Unauthorized Charges

    If you believe a charge was made fraudulently or without authorization, you should contact us immediately.

    BetterPings may investigate the matter and take appropriate action including:

    • Suspending accounts
    • Reversing charges where appropriate
    • Cooperating with payment processors

    Disputed Charges

    Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting BetterPings may result in:

    • Suspension of your account
    • Revocation of API access
    • Permanent termination of service

    Customers are encouraged to contact our billing team before initiating a payment dispute.

    Free Credits

    BetterPings may provide free credits for evaluation purposes. Free credits:

    • Have no cash value
    • Cannot be refunded
    • Cannot be transferred or redeemed

    BetterPings may modify or discontinue free credit programs at any time.

    Changes to This Refund Policy

    BetterPings may update this Refund Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
